ArcFace

State-of-the-art deep learning model for generating facial embeddings.

📖 Full definition

ArcFace is a convolutional neural network published in 2019 that beat face recognition benchmarks. It introduces an additional loss function (additive angular margin loss) that enforces more discriminative classes in vector space. It is today considered a reference for high accuracy on varied faces.

💡 Concrete example

Look Like Me relies on a model from the ArcFace family to compute embeddings from your 3 photos (you, dad, mom). Inference runs entirely on infrastructure hosted in the European Union.
