AI analyses your features

Our LLM Engine automatically detects each face, aligns it, then computes a facial embedding for each photo. It then compares your embedding to each parent's using cosine distance.

You get a resemblance percentage with each parent, and the "winner" is highlighted. The result is shareable (or keepable secret) — your choice.

Under the hood — our AI

Look Like Me runs on its own AI engine designed specifically for family resemblance, not for identity recognition. That matters: a generic model like ArcFace or FaceNet is trained to distinguish faces — not to measure their family closeness.

Our approach uses transfer learning on a pre-trained CNN, fine-tuned on parent-child pairs to spot inherited resemblance. Accuracy: over 95% on resemblance detection, validated on thousands of cases.

Privacy and confidentiality

Your photos are deleted from our servers immediately after the analysis. Only the score (a number) is kept on your account if you are logged in. No photo is shared, sold or used for commercial purposes.

How long does the test take?
Under 10 seconds after uploading the 3 photos. The score appears instantly.
Which photo formats are accepted?
JPG, PNG or WEBP. 2 MB maximum, minimum resolution 300×300 pixels. Sharper photos give a more accurate score.
Why does the score change if I redo the test?
If you change the photo (angle, light, expression), the facial embedding changes slightly and the score can vary by a few percent. That's normal — expression variability influences the analysis.
Do I need an account?
No, your first analysis in guest mode is free and anonymous. Creating an account lets you save results and run more tests.
What's the difference with a DNA test?
