How does Look Like Me work?
You upload a photo of yourself and one of each parent. Our proprietary AI (LLM Engine) analyzes the facial features, computes an embedding for each face, and measures the similarity with each parent. The result is a resemblance percentage with each parent.
How long does an analysis take?
Under 10 seconds after uploading the 3 photos. You get the resemblance score instantly.
What photo formats are accepted?
JPG, PNG or WEBP, 2 MB maximum per photo, minimum resolution 300×300 px.
What kind of photo gives the best results?
A front-facing photo, well lit, no sunglasses or hat, with a single clearly visible face. See our complete photo guide.
Can I test without creating an account?
Yes, you have 1 free guest analysis. To save results and run more tests, create a free account.
🤖 Accuracy and AI
How accurate is the AI?
Our LLM Engine reaches over 95% accuracy on family resemblance detection, validated on thousands of cases. See also our similarity score definition.
Why does the score change if I redo the test?
If you change the photo (angle, light, expression), the facial embedding changes slightly and the score may vary by a few percent. That's normal.
What's the difference with a DNA test?
A DNA test compares your genetic heritage with another individual (lineage). Look Like Me compares visible facial features via facial recognition. The two measures are complementary. Details in our DNA vs AI comparison.
My child looks more like one parent: why?
Genetics is a lottery: some dominant genes express more than others. Read our article Why does a child look more like one parent.
🔒 Privacy and data
Are my photos kept?
Your photos are automatically deleted from our servers after the analysis. Only the result (score) is kept on your account if you are logged in.
Is Look Like Me GDPR compliant?
Yes, we are 100% GDPR compliant. See our privacy policy for details.
Are my data shared with third parties?
No. Your photos and results are never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes, at any time from your profile. All your data will be erased from our servers.

How much does Look Like Me cost?
The first analysis is free (no sign-up). For unlimited analyses, see our pricing plans.
Is there a gift pack?
Yes, a Gift Pack is available to offer the Look Like Me experience to your loved ones.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time from your profile. No fees.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe, secure payment.

Do I need an account to test?
No, 1 guest analysis is free. But creating a free account lets you save your results and run multiple tests.

How do I change my email address?
From your profile, edit your email address in the account settings.
